The joint bid for the NATO’s tender was submitted on April 4th 2012 by Antonov (Ukraine) and Volga-Dnepr (Russia).

The value of this contract is assessed at $420 million. The aircraft are manufactured by Kiev-based Aviant enterprise. 60% of the aircraft’s cost is accounted for components delivered by Russian enterprises.

The cost of MS-21 program decreased from $5,48 billion to $4,26 billion by means of business plan optimization.

Fedorov, CEO of Irkut: Jeppesen will help us assess the aircraft’s efficiency (first of all, fuel efficiency) more precisely during its development. After that the operators of MS-21 aircraft will be able to use the services of Jeppesen for optimization of their costs

Su fighters are ranked first by quantity (aggregative index of manufacturing companies - Sukhoi and Irkut). This refers to 280 vehicles with a total value of $12,73 billion.

At that 43900 flights have been performed and 2 million 793 thousand passengers have been transported on domestic airlines. As for international airlines – 28800 flights have been performed and 1 million 415 thousand passengers have been transported.

The reason for the refusal was not specified by Armavia.

The serial production of the new helicopter will be started in 2015.

The 10 turboprops will be purchased in 2013 – 2014 and the option may be exercised in 2015.

These new jets will help Donavia increase the passenger traffic and improve the quality of services offered by the airline.
