Rossiya Airlines has introduced a new menu for passengers

Taking into account a number of circumstances caused primarily by the fact that the supply of food is carried out at a height of thousands of meters above the ground, the usual type of dishes that world airlines adhere to will not yield any meaningful result.

That's how the idea of ​​developing a new project together with a network of Shokoladnitsa coffee shops. The new exclusive «Menu from Shokoladnitsa» is a new stage in the development of a food culture on board. Air carriers have a fairly successful practice of attracting famous chefs to develop a meal menu, but for the first time it turned out at "Rossiya" to equip your favourite coffee shop at a height of thousands of meters with a view of the setting sun and the crimson clouds.

On March 20, Rossiya Airlines introduced a new service - the possibility of ordering additional paid food, prepared according to the recipes of the Shokoladnitsa chain of coffee. For passengers flying from Vnukovo airport under the program of flights to popular tourist destinations (FV5501-5949), the function of ordering dishes from the special "Menu from Shokoladnitsa" is available on the airline's website.

Normal air supply is given on the ground. With the recipes of Shokoladnitsa partners work from Vnukovo Catering. Vnukovo Catering, founded in 2004, provides catering services for most airlines at the Vnukovo International Airport. The structure of the company includes a full-cycle catering factory, equipped with specialised processing workshops, preparation for preparation and preparation of products, a confectionery shop, warehouses and cameras for operational and long-term storage, as well as various cafes, bars and business halls located on the territory of the air terminal complex, providing comprehensive services for all categories of passengers, partner airlines and airport guests.

All the menu presented on the flights of "Rossiya" was developed on the basis of the most popular courses of Shokoladnitsa "on the ground". At the stage of developing a joint project, one of the conditions of the airline was the inclusion in the side menu of both hot and cold dishes. Thus, the special on-board menu includes the most popular dishes of the Shokoladnitsa assortment: Caesar and Philadelphia rolls, club sandwich, oatmeal, rice and millet porridge cooked on milk, as well as syrniki, pancakes and much more. In addition, passengers can pamper themselves with cakes "Medovik", "Prague", "Opera", vanilla and chocolate eclairs and cheesecake "Oreo". All dishes of the Shokoladnitsa menu are packed in special individual lunch boxes with an exclusive design.

Receiving orders for the new menu started less than a month ago, and passengers are just beginning to look at it, but judging by the growing sales, they are really interested in it. Based on the sales data for the first week, the most popular on board were cheese cakes and an omelet. Due to the fact that the service is in high demand, in the future the menu is planned to expand, depending on the preferences and wishes of passengers. Now the company is considering the possibility and exploring the demand for adding vegetarian dishes and expanding the category of hot dishes on the boards of "Rossiya".
