NAIS 2020 is a key event in the strategic industry of Russia
Thursday April 9, 2020 13:43 MSK / Ruaviation
For the seventh time, the NAIS Civil Aviation Infrastructure Exhibition and Forum brought together industry professionals from Russia and abroad under its wing. Over the years of the forum, he deservedly took the place of a key event in the Russian aviation industry.

NAIS-2020 was held with the support and participation of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and the Federal Air Transport Agency. The event, bringing together thousands of industry professionals, is dedicated to the Day of Civil Aviation Workers and is covered by a pool of 50 leading media representatives, including federal television channels and industry-specific media. The strategic media partner of NAIS is the largest industry portal - AVIA*RU Network.

NAIS is a member of the Global Reach Airport Show international program that unites exhibitions on airport infrastructure and held in various parts of the world: Inter Airport Europe (Germany), Inter Airport China (China), Inter Airport South East Asia (Singapore), Airport Show (UAE ) Representatives of the joint stand of the C600 group are pleased to receive guests during the days of the NAIS-2020.

2020 is a special year for the National Project on the modernisation and expansion of the trunk infrastructure - the first work has already begun on the practical implementation of a large-scale program for the development of regional airports and routes, which is the reconstruction and construction of more than 60 airports and airfields in Russia.

The exhibition was visited by Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation E.I. Dietrich, Deputy Minister of Transport Alexander Alekseevich Yurchik, Head of the Federal Agency for Air Transport A.V. Neradko, Head of the Federal Service for Supervision in the Field of Transport (Rostransnadzor) Viktor Fedorovich Basargin, General Director of FSUE State ATM Corporation Igor Moiseenko, Senators of the Federation Council and State Duma deputies.

In connection with the active phase of the modernization project, an infrastructure development map was created for the first time at NAIS, created with the support of the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviation), which reflected all the achievements of Russian airports over the previous 10 years and identified concrete development steps until 2024.

The project of the Open Podium for Innovations, launched last year, accessible to all visitors and participants during the exhibition, will continue this season: companies that develop their own know-how and technologies will present their achievements and their successful practical application in a special exhibition space.

NAIS 2020 Forum presented an extensive and rich two-day business program and was held at a high level - almost all official and business program events were attended by industry and airline leaders - 4000 professionals from more than 60 regions of Russia and 30 countries, delegations from 235 airports and airlines and equipment suppliers enterprises.

The central event of the forum’s business program, the plenary session, was dedicated to the theme: “Development of the interregional aviation route network as a driver of economic growth in Russia.” Key topics were raised, such as: improving the system of state regulation of aviation development; investment infrastructure projects for the development of airports; issues of subsidies and tariffs, regional hubs, air fleets and small airports.

The meeting was attended by: Deputy Minister of Transport Alexander Alekseevich Yurchik, Head of the Federal Air Transport Agency Alexander Neradko, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ramport-Aero Boris Sergeevich Aleshin, General Director of UTair Airlines Pavel Vladimirovich Permyakov, General Director of Management Company Airports of Regions Evgeny Aleksandrovich Chudnovsky, Deputy General Director of S7 Airlines Nikita Sergeevich Fedorin, General Director of FKP Airports of the North Vadim Valer Yevich Volkov, as well as the General Director of PJSC Il, Yuri Vladimirovich Grudinin. The plenary session was moderated by Roman Vladimirovich Gusarov, editor-in-chief of the AVIA.RU Network portal.

One of the forum’s largest events is the VII industry conference “Topical Issues of Transport (Aviation) Security”, which was held with the participation of the Ministry of Transport of Russia, the Federal Air Transport Agency, Rostransnadzor, the Association of Transport Security and enterprises - suppliers of solutions in the relevant field.

The following conferences were also held: “Digital document management and technologies in the software of civil AT”; “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies in Air Transport”; “Innovative technologies for the design, construction and operation of airfield infrastructure”; “Good airport management practices and strategies.” At the session “Ground handling at airports - efficiency and safety”, airports, airline, management and handling companies will present their developments: effective ground handling models, innovative technologies in ground handling and handling.

However, the most striking and memorable part of the forum was the awarding ceremony for the winners of the Air Gates of Russia — National Airport Award and the prestigious airline award — Skyway Service Award, the only airline industry award in Russia where winners are determined not by experts, but by passengers, via the Internet -voting.
