Russian government sold a controlling block of shares of the Novosibirsk airport Tolmachevo

Federal Agency for State Property Management (Rosimushchestvo) has sold the controlling block of shares (51%) of the Novosibirsk airport Tolmachevo to the company "Complex AeroService". The amount of transaction is 2,805 billion roubles.

31 732 340 of regular registered shares were exposed to auction in non-documentary form with initial price of 1 105 534 000 rub., which is 51% of registered capital. Seven companies took part in the auction. "Complex AeroService" has won the auction with its bid of 2 805 534 000 rub.

Thus, Rosimushchestvo has sold the federal property to the sum of 9 billion 566 million roubles in 2011. According to mass media, "Complex AeroService" is affiliated with "Novaport".

"Novaport is a part of AEON Corporation, it specializes on realization of comprehensive airport development programs. According to company's information, Novaport is realizing the following airport development projects at the moment:
"Aeroport Tolmachevo" (Novosibirsk), "Altay airline" (Barnaul), "Aeroport Tomsk", "Aeroport Chita", "Aeroport Astrakhan"

Total passenger flow of the specified airports was 2.7 million passengers in 2009. Their total cargo traffic was 23,3 thousand tons. The company's total revenue was 4.1 billion rub. in 2009.
